16 NE Collegiate Teams to Compete for Championships in 2 Divisions on February 1-2

With the fast growth and popularity of badminton clubs in the region, university students are now stepping up their game and desiring for a match up with other universities.  This is evident in the participation of 16 collegiate teams from 7 states in the upcoming Northeast Collegiate Team Championships to be held in Boston Badminton, Westborough on Feb 1-2.
The eight Division 1 teams are:
Amherst College, MA
Boston University, MA
Brown University, RI
Cornell University, NY

BOSTON BADMINTON CLOSED JANUARY 2, 2014

Due to the inclement weather, Boston Badminton will not be opening today. Members are always free to play if they wish. Please remember to shut off the lights when you leave.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! CLUB IS CLOSED ON DEC 24 AND 31

Club is open on Christmas and New Years Day for families to enjoy badminton.  Members are always welcome to play even when Club is closed.

WINTER TRAINING CAMP FOR JUNIORS IS SCHEDULED FOR DEC 26-27, 29-30

Coaches Pashupati Paneru and Ajit Umrani will run the full day AC Academy  Winter Training Camp.
Registration deadline is on Dec 13. Participants also need to complete a medical emergency form.

HAROLD SEAVEY NORTHEAST MASTERS TOURNAMENT DRAWS MORE THAN 30 SENIORS

Courts will open for other guests starting 5 pm on Sat, Dec 7.  The tournament  which start at 8:30 am, will occupy 4 courts until 5 pm; two courts will be used for training and two courts for members. SCHEDULE OF MATCHES

BOSTON BADMINTON TO HOST THE 2014 NORTHEAST COLLEGIATE TEAM BADMINTON CHAMPIONSHIPS ON FEBRUARY 1-2, 2014

The 2014 Northeast Collegiate Team Badminton Championships, a joint venture between the NE Collegiate and NE Badminton Associations, will be the first of its kind in years.  It expects to bring together over 200 badminton players from 16 colleges and universities from all over the Northeastern US which has seen tremendous growth in the organization of badminton clubs and teams in recent years.  We thank USAB, Massbad and YONEX for their support for this event.  

HAPPY THANKSGIVING DAY! Club is closed on Nov 28.
