PROMOTE EXCELLENCE IN BADMINTON THROUGH THE NORTHEAST REGION BADMINTON ASSOCIATION (NER) JUDY DEVLIN FUND

 
We  know the high cost of training and travelling to tournaments; we  know the sacrifices and discipline needed to become an accomplished player.  We are looking for players from the NE aiming to follow in July Devlin’s footsteps. We ask all of you to donate generously to the tax-deductable Judy Devlin Fund  to support the Region’s goal in achieving excellence in competitive badminton.  We encourage deserving players in need for support to apply.

MASSACHUSETTS HIGH SCHOOL BADMINTON LEAGUE IN COLLABORATION WITH MASSBAD TO HOLD SUMMER TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL CHAMPIONSHIPS

 
Massachusetts High School Badminton League was started more than two years ago by Newton North High School students led by Kelly Huang and Chris Yee.
We applaud and support  this student initiative to promote badminton in Massachusetts high schools.
The team event (registration deadline on May 18) will be held in Boston Badminton on May 26. The individual event (registration deadline on May 26) will be held in the Newton North High School on June 8.  Register now and enjoy badminton with other high school students.

Boston Badminton to Host 2013 Massachusetts Senior Games

 
Badminton events for the 2013 Massachusetts Senior games will be held on Sunday, June 23 at Boston Badminton in Westborough.  To register, go to http://www.maseniorgames.org/registration.html.  Registration will close one week before June 23.

TRAINING AND SUMMER VACATION CAMP UPDATE

 
            There shall be no training during the 3 days of the Boston Open, May 3-5.  Everyone is invited to go to watch the best badminton event in Massachusetts in its 17th year at the Rockwell Cage of MIT.  You can find the schedule of events at bostonopen.com.
            All regular badminton classes will continue until June 30.  After June 30, only Saturday regular classes will continue until August 31.  Those who have make-up classes after June 30 can take them on Saturdays.  Classes with less than 4 participants will be cancelled or consolidated. UPDATE ON THE SPRING VACATION CAMP WITH BOYD

We will divide the adult session from 7 to 9:30 pm into two:
Apr 15-16 (mon-tue) Intermediate
Apr 17-18 (wed-thu) Advance

SUN, MAR 31: CLUB DOES NOT OPEN UNTIL 1 PM; TAGB SHUTTLE/BADMINTON TOURNAMENT STARTS AT 9 AM

SUMMER TRAINING CAMP TO RUN FROM JULY 8 TO AUG 23

Boston Badminton is now accepting registration for the summer training camp.  Participants can choose to participate in any number of week(s) for full or half day camps.  Registration forms and payment should be submitted at least 5 days before the start of  session registered for.

NEWSFLASH: SUN, MAR 17 CLUB IS OPEN BUT ENTRY TO PARKING IS BLOCKED

Players can park their cars on the two side roads.  The Town of Westborough is conducting repair of the sewer lines and backflow prevention device.
