COVID ALERT

This is to inform you that a player in court 2/3 at 5:30-9:30 pm on Wed, Dec 9 received a positive covid test result on Thu afternoon. The player is asymptomatic. All those who may have been there are asked to monitor themselves and take necessary precautions. Professional cleaning (wet wipe, air scrubbing, thermal fogging) will be performed on Fri, Dec 11.

WITH THE CURRENT SURGE IN COVID-19, CLUB WILL STOP ACCEPTING NEW MEMBERSHIPS STARTING DEC 11

As MA rolls back to Phase 3 Step 1 covid rules, Boston Badminton will stop accepting applications for membership and unlimited passes starting Dec 11.  Again we ask all players to cooperate with the mask and distancing mandate.  RESERVE COURTS IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE ASKED TO STAY IN YOUR CAR WHILE THE CLUB HAS REACHED CAPACITY.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO YOU ALL!

Boston Badminton will be closed on Thanksgiving Day!  Schedule will be the same for all other days (besides Thursday).

CLUB WILL CLOSE AT 9:30 PM; MASK REQUIRED EVEN AT PLAY; CLUB CAPACITY AT 25 STARTING NOV 6

Given the limited weekday hours starting FRIDAY, NOV 6 - NO RESERVATION SLOT WILL BE ALLOWED TO END AT 9 PM.  Any reservation made ending at 9 pm will be shifted later by 1/2 hour so as to end at 9:30pm. For example, 7-9 pm will be moved to 7:30-9:30, 8-9 moved to 8:30-9:30, 7:30-9 moved to 8-9:30 pm.  
If club is at capacity of 25, players with reservations are not allowed to play on any court except the one reserved.  All must leave club within 15 minutes of end of reservation regardless of whether they are members or have paid walk-in fee.   Read more »

MODIFIED COURT USE GUIDELINES

The Wed/Fri night requirement for court reservation will no longer be enforced.  But since player traffic has increased and club is at capacity during peak times, RESERVATIONS are highly recommended to ensure player is not left out in the cold!
CLUB CAPACITY IS 30.  When club reaches capacity, playerers are placed on waitlist and will be required to stay outside.  Those in unreserved courts will be limited to 1 hour for singles and 2 hours for doubles (limited to 5 players).
Court Reservation Rates.  $5/hr for members and checked in guests, $36/hr for non-members.  Typically, peak times are 6:30-8:30 pm on weeknights and 5-8 pm on Saturdays. Read more »
