BOSTON BADMINTON TO HOST TWO MAJOR NORTHEAST JUNIOR TOURNAMENTS

The three major junior tournaments in the Northeast are:
1. NJ Junior Championships, Super Regional (70%) Oct 11-13
2. New England Junior Open, Regional (20%) Nov 22-23
3. US Junior International Trials, Apr 3-6
Boston Badminton will host the New England Junior Open (NEJO) and the US Junior International Trials (JIT).  The NEJO should provide local and northeast juniors the opportunity to improve their ranking as they qualify for JIT and also a chance to play at the JIT venue.

REGISTER NOW FOR THE AC ACADEMY TRAINING PROGRAM

Registration for Semester 1 (Sept 9 through Feb 1) of the AC Academy is now open.  Training programs are available for the junior beginner, junior intermediate, junior advance players as well as adult intermediate players.  Besides the Regular Training Program, AC Academy offers a more intensive training for competitive intermediate and advance juniors in an Elite Training Program.

BOSTON BADMINTON WILL BE CLOSED JUN 28-29 AND JULY 1-7

The courts will be used for the Bay State Games on Sat, Jun 28 and Sun, Jun 29.  Courts are available for members and guests to use 1) on Fri, Jun 27 except for four courts to be used for the Bay State Games from 7 pm to10:30 pm, 2) on Sun, June 29 from 4 to 7 pm and 3) on Mon, June 30.
Court floor will be re polished and not be available for use on Jul 1-7.  Boston Badminton will reopen at 1 pm on July 8.

TRAINING CAMP WITH CHONGTIAN QIU ON JUL 8-11

The 4 day training camp is for advanced intermediate (2:30-5 pm) and advanced beginner (5:30-7:30 pm) players.  Classes are limited to 6 participants per session, so register now to reserved your slot.

CLUB IS CLOSED ON SUN, JUN 1 FROM 9 AM TO 2 PM FOR MASSACHUSETTS SENIOR BADMINTON GAMES

Courts will be used for the Senior Games and the training program.
Courts are open to players from 2 to 8 pm.

CONGRATULATIONS TO TOURNAMENT CHAMPIONS: DARREN YANG AND COACH CHONGTIAN QIU

Congratulations to junior Darren Yang for his triple crown win (U19 BS, BD and MX) at the NW Junior Super Regional Tournament in Seattle and to Coach Chongtian Qiu for winning the MS and XD at the Mid Atlantic Badminton Classic in NJ over the Memorial Day weekend.

AC ACADEMY TO RUN JUNIOR AND ADULT SUMMER TRAINING CAMPS FROM JUL 14 TO AUG 29

The Summer Training Camp runs from 9:30 to 4 pm from Monday to Friday for all ages and levels.  Registration and payment should be submitted by June 27, 2014.
