2012 USA Team Trials News, NEJO tournament highlights

We thank the Massachusetts Badminton Association under the leadership of Beth Sopka and the USAB Tournament Committee under the leadership of Chris Lawrence for bringing in a well-organized 2012 Team USA Trials to Boston Badminton on Dec 2-4. To all tournament officials and volunteers, thank you so much for helping make this event a big success. Our local players, participants and audience, benefitted from this elite event brought to the East Coast for the first time.

To Gene Cassidy of Boston Globe and Michelle Seaton of NPR (only a game), we greatly appreciate your effort in covering badminton in your respective media. Your presentations were excellent. The publicity will help accelerate our effort to bring the USA back to its former glory and popularity in badminton.

We also thank Kalleigh West for covering the 2012 Team USA Trial in The Metrowest Daily News.  We are overwhelmed by the support in the community. http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/editorspick_mobile/x917961026/U-S-badminton-tournament-comes-to-Westborough
